Sophia came home with her classroom pet the other day! His name is Corduroy and stayed with us for two days. Corduroy has spent time with every kid in Sophia's class and now it was our turn. Corduroy stayed close to Sophia for a fun day of riding bikes, playing with the neighbor kids, and a visit to the library. After each visit the kids help Corduroy write in his journal about their adventures. Sophia and David did a great job on Corduroy's journal. The class pet was such a great idea, I think I'm going to be stealing the idea for summer.
