Summer Projects

Summer break will be here soon... I've been working on some summer projects for the girls.  One project the girls are working on is the DCR Park Passport Program.  The program is part of the No Child Left Inside initiative which encourages kids and their families to visit Massachusetts State Parks.


The girls can get a stamp from the participating state parks for their passport booklets.  We're starting with the parks closest to us; the Northeast Region.  The Passport splits Massachusetts into 5 regions; Boston, Southeast, Northeast, Central and West.  Northeast Region has 12 Passport Parks, but there are a total of 76 Passport Parks.


When the girls visit all the Passport Parks in one region they'll earn a cool t-shirt to show off their accomplishment!
