Powder Puff Derby

Along with other Girl Scouts Sophia participated in a Powder Puff Derby.  Our troop  had 4 girls participate in the race.  Sophia loves seeing her Girl Scout Friends wherever she goes.  It's so nice to have new friends to see and hang out with during the weekends.

Sophia's car came in second and third in two separate heats.  She was very happy to do so well and loved cheering on her car.  We learned some tips for next year to increase the speed of the car.  David's already ordered three more cars to start practicing. 

After a long day of races, crowds, and screaming Girl Scouts we had some yummy Mexican food.  We finally found some GOOD mexican food in New England.  It's no Taste of Texas, but good chips and salsa are always a great way to end a long day.
