Wednesday was the first storm of the new year. We were expected to get 15"-18" when we got a call at 8:00 Tuesday that school was cancelled. Our first "snow day" ever! David did go to work Wednesday morning while the girls and I dug in for the big storm.

By the end of the storm we had 28" of snow! I spent about 4 hours shoveling the snow with neighbors. The plows just couldn't keep up with the snow fall. At least shoveling snow is a great work out for my back and arms!
