Harold Parker State Park

Saturday was another beautiful New England day.  After taking care of some chores the family went to Harold Parker State Park in North Andover for a bike ride.  Sophia was ready to hit the trails as soon as we got there.  She actually wanted to ride her bike there, but Mom and Dad thought it would be best to check out the area first...
Serafin was more than ready to get in the trailer for our bike ride... She climbed in before we got it on the bike.  Mom did her best to talk Serafin out of wearing her pretty dress for our bike ride, but she insisted on it.
We took a short ride for our first time out.  About 5 Miles around Stearns Pond.  Both Mom and Dad took turns towing the kids... The girls enjoyed most of the ride but didn't really like the dirt being kicked up on them from the tire.  Mom thought they could get a better view without the cover and didn't put it on.  They were a mess!
After riding around the entire pond Mom took the girls to a picnic area near the water for a closer look.  Dad went to find some more advance terrain.

The girls had a great time at the pond.  They played in the dirt, looked for frogs, and "skipped" rocks across the water

When Dad caught up with Mom and the girls it was almost dark and time to go back to the car... Sophia wanted to run back so she could chase Dad.  Serafin took the trailer back to the car while Mom towed.

Next trip back were going to try the west side of the park.  The days are already starting to get colder and the neighbor said that Fall weather would be here soon.  Hopefully we can get back out to this park and others before it's too cold or wet.

So did David find a good place to ride?

Not at this park, but I hear there's a great place in New Hampshire for him to try.
