Sophia had her Book Club meeting today. Sophia read Wabi Sabi by Mark Reibstein this month. The book uses a Japanese cat to teach the idea of beauty through simplicity. Sophia learned that things in nature can be very pretty. The book also included several haiku poems.
Today we went to the library for a craft with the other kids in the book club. This was our first time in the craft room at the Library. Serafin was really impressed with the art on the wall.
Sophia was impressed that they snack.
After reviewing the book with the Librarian it was time for craft time. Sophia and Serafin had a great time working on their projects and spending time at the library.
